LOCATION
Situated in a truly enviable position approximately half way between St Ives and St Agnes. Set in a sheltered, landscaped, wooded valley only 2½ miles from Portreath and Porthtowan beaches and in the heart of Cornwall’s famous and historic tin mining area, Tehidy is an ideal base to explore the very best that Cornwall has to offer. It’s a chance to give the car a holiday too, take advantage of the woodland walks from site, use local cycle trails, including the famous coast to coast (Tramways Trail) which is only in the next valley. A bus route passes the site and we have a request stop at the entrance, just put out your hand. Nowhere in Cornwall is very far from Tehidy as we are so central.

HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION
COTTAGES
Our cottages are well spaced in pairs. Each pair is situated on its own hedged terrace allowing for a more relaxed and secluded feel. This is just one of the reasons we are a truely unique holiday park in Cornwall. Double glazing and heating is provided. Pine furniture and quality furnishings. A well equipped kitchen including a full size oven, fridge with freezer and all the equipment you will need. Just bring a tea towel.
French doors lead onto the rear private patio garden. General waste bins are provided on the patio to make life easy. Clothes lines and furniture are provided on the private rear garden patio. Gas and electricity are included in the price. You can be guaranteed an exceptionally clean and comfortable cottage. The master bedroom has French doors that enable direct access to your private patio garden.
We provide hotel quality duvets and pillows, bed linen can be included if requested. All you need is towels. We also provide freeview and free wifi.
HOLIDAY CARAVANS
Our caravans are well spaced in small groups of no more than 7. Each group is situated on its own hedged terrace allowing for a more relaxed and secluded feel. This is just one of the reasons we are a truely unique holiday park in Cornwall. Picnic benches, BBQ slabs, double glazing, heating is provided throughout and rotary driers are provided. Gas and electricity are included in the price. You can be guaranteed an exceptionally clean and comfortable caravan.
A well equipped kitchen including a full size oven, fridge with freezer and all the equipment you will need. Just bring a tea towel. Recycling facilities and general waste bins are provided on each terrace to make life easy.
We provide hotel quality duvets and pillows, bed linen can be included if requested. All you need is towels. We also provide freeview and free wifi.
CAMPING AND TOURING
At Tehidy Holiday Park in Cornwall touring caravans, motor homes and tents are welcome and are well catered for in specially reserved areas.
Two, superb, warm and comfortable wigwam camping cabins, each designed to sleep up to 5 adults. The Tehidy Holiday Park Wigwams are built in Scotland for warm and comfortable year round use. With heating, lighting and electric supply, 100mm thick foam mattresses on beds, microwaves, kettles and fridges, they are equipped for your glamping adventure. The large deck allows for outdoor dining, or just relaxing.

FACILITIES
On site the play area and games room will keep your children happy and entertained, allowing for some independence in a safe setting. The trampoline is set in the ground for safety, we also have swings, climbing frame, netball and table tennis table. In the games room you will also find a wealth of tourist information to help you plan your holiday, a digital TV, pool table and football table, the tables and chairs with power points are useful if you want to check on emails or just browse the web for information. The book case allows you to catch up on some holiday reading too. Parents are frequently spotted on one of the benches located around the site, with a book in hand. If you’ve finished with a book we are more than happy for you to swap it for one of ours. In Reception we have a shop stocked with local produce where possible. You will also find recycled fishing nets, buckets, etc for your use, as is the freezer for ice blocks. Just put a donation in a charity box.
